Ding..dong...it’s autumn knocking and we all know what that means...craft beer season is in full swing!! Harpoon brewery debuted their latest craft beer this season called “Flannel Friday.” It’s great and all but what in the hell are you supposed to drink when it’s not Flannel Friday? Don’t freak out…not yet at least. There is a great selection of spectacular craft beers out on the shelves this season.
Dirty Flannel Saturday
A stale, American lager. Almost tastes like Flannel Friday but its Saturday and you've been wearing that flannel for two days now.
BBQ Wing Football Sunday
MMM… a hoppy, sticky stout. Made with mesquite BBQ sauce and laces from the good ol’ pigskin. Tastes great when paired with a plate of reheated microwave nachos.
Brown Leaf Squashhead Monday
A dark brown, hoppy ale. Fermented with crisp, brown rotting leaves that have been aged all season and then mixed with ground-up squash to balance out the leafy flavor. Great beer to drink while raking your yard!
A mellow, sleepy pilsner. Why wait until Thanksgiving to have turkey and mashed potatoes? Best paired with grandma’s green bean casserole.
A dark, spooky brew. Conjured up by ghosts and simmered with eye of newt and rat tail in a cauldron. This beer has a limited edition hex cast on it by the one-and-only Bertha the Witch before it’s bottled for sale. WOAH, ingest with caution!
Riding Boot and Wool Sock Thursday
A fuzzy, peppery IPA. Finely crafted with 100% leather boot and a vintage, hand-knitted wool sock with a dash of pepper. This brew will have you feeling nostalgic and you’ll quickly find yourself reminiscing about the early settler days of America. It was the unanimous winner for “Most Original” in the 2016 Fall Bootleg Beer Competition and as the fans say “really does taste like boot!”
Ahhh, nothing like the taste of quality craft beer. Be sure to get your limited edition brews before the fall beers come off the shelf and the winter brews come out!
